Providing a Gateway to Abilities from Disabilities

Gate follows the local school calendar. Typically the program is open from the first week in August

through the last week in May. School breaks are duplicated. This normally includes one week in fall, one

week in spring, and two weeks in December. The daily hours of operation are from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

They participate as a group in three local Special Olympics events: Basketball, Bowling and Track and Field.

Some participants are involved with Power Lifting and Skiing Special Olympics.
